Think Pink: Products To Shop For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Every October, we commemorate “the month of pink” by spreading the importance of breast cancer awareness. Our aim is to encourage women to learn how to do regular self-checks in the comfort of their own homes and to visit a medical professional to take a look at their breasts if they suspect something isn’t right.

According to Breastcancer.org: “A lump is one of the most common signs and symptoms of breast cancer, but symptoms vary and can also include swelling, skin dimpling and breast or nipple pain. It’s also important to know that some lumps might be too small for you to feel and that even a large lump can be benign.”

Breast cancer remains the most prevalent cancer for women in South Africa, according to CANSA, with a lifetime risk of 1 in 27 and early detection is key.

Are you looking for ways to show your support, but you’re not sure how? You can donate to various organisations, like CANSA, and you can also show your support by purchasing the products below.
