To get adorned in gorgeous nail art, you could go to your local salon. Or you could do it yourself! Here are five looks that are easy and will elevate your DIY manicure.
1. Horizontal two-tone
This simple but stand-out look can be achieved with just two nail polish shades and tape.
- Paint your nail with your base shade of choice and allow it to dry.
- Stick a piece of tape horizontally across each of your nails.
- Paint your second colour over the exposed nail.
- Carefully peel off the tape and, once dry, seal with a top coat.
2. Polka dots
Cute and festive, this artwork looks great on bare nails or over your favourite colour lacquer.
- If you want to apply a base colour, do this and allow it to dry.
- For small dots, dip a toothpick into your colour of choice and apply.
- For larger dots, dip a cotton earbud into the nail polish and apply.
- Once the dots are dry, seal your look with a top coat.
