Magical make-up
A trendsetter in her own right, this year’s edition (Volume 4) took a surrealistic approach, from the performers right down to the cosmetics. “This year’s show has a magical feeling,” said Fenty Beauty global make-up artist Priscilla Ono. “We wanted that sentiment and aesthetic to transcend into the make-up, so you’ll see a lot of iridescence and ethereal colour splashes on lids and lips. And, of course, soft, radiant skin.”

New mom Rihanna played the role of Mother Nature in the show and, while the make-up looks were bold, there was a natural-world theme throughout. Her make-up centred around her nude, metallic lips. This was further amplified with head-to-toe shimmer and a bronzed complexion. Her hair was worn loose with tons of volume, which completed her powerful but dreamy look.
