Graphic Liner Looks To Try For Your Next Night Out

Eyeliner used to be a make-up product that was used relatively conservatively and only on the outer eyelids to make our peepers more pronounced and defined. They also used to be similar to pencils, so their effect was subtle. Things have, however, come a long way and there has been plenty of innovation in the world of cosmetics. As such, there are different varieties of eyeliner, from pencils to kohl to gel to liquid. This makes creating graphic liner looks a breeze.

Need some inspiration for creating look-at-me eyes for your next night out? Here are four looks to try your (steady and stable!) hand at.

Sharp and slick

At first glance, this might appear like a classic winged-liner look, but it actually has a thinner line connected to the wing that follows the crease of the eye. The eyeliner also extends across the entire top eyelid to make a pointed tip in the inner corner, too.

Colourful cat eyes

Most people use a jet-black eyeliner to create a classic cat-eye flick. Flip the script and make your eyes stand out by using a different colour instead. This could be the on-trend chocolate brown, if you want something neutral, or you could go bold and choose an unexpected vibrant shade.

Top and bottom

Many make-up wearers stick to their top eyelids when creating graphic eyeliner looks, but you can make an even bigger impact by adding some to the bottom as well. We’re not talking about a neutral tone along your waterline either, but rather a bold line to mirror the one on top.

Modern minimalism

This minimalistic look proves that you don’t need to do an intricate design for your eyes to take centre stage (and that sometimes less really is more!). White is a great colour choice, but you could opt for either a light or dark shade and get the same stunning effect.
