Do you feel like you’re in a make-up rut? Don’t worry, it happens to all of us. If you’re a fan of a bold lip, why not switch it up and try something different, like a statement eye? And vice versa. To help you with some inspiration, we’ve made a list of our favourite make-up looks. The beauty of each of these looks is that you can custom them to suit your style. Don’t be afraid to try different finishes, hues and formulas because, maybe, you’ll find your new signature make-up style. Happy shopping!
The Classic Red Lip
One can never go wrong with a red lip. This classic, easy-to-wear look has been donned by so many favourites throughout the ages, from Marilyn Monroe to Rihanna. The reason why it’s made the top of our list is because it’s a statement look. All you need to do is choose which shade, texture and lip product works for you. Opt for a matte red if you want vibrant colour and longevity. If a defined lip is what you’re after, choose a lip liner to colour in your entire lip. Lastly, pop a shiny red lippy into your cart if you want comfort, softness and a satin finish.
Winged Eyeliner
Although the winged eyeliner trend started as far back as Ancient Egypt with the likes of Queen Cleopatra smudging her lids with a mineral form of lead sulfide, 50s starlets, such as Brigitte Bardot and Liz Taylor, were responsible for making this trend a make-up phenomenon in modern-day life. The whole ‘point’ of the look is to accentuate the shape of your eyes, framing them with the eyeliner. Often referred to as the ‘cat eye’, this look can be mastered with various products. We suggest using a felt tip liner with a thick tip to allow you to play with the precision. Gel eyeliner requires a separate application brush and is a must for those who want long-wear.

Smokey Eye
The smokey eye will always be one of the most iconic eye looks, simply because it makes any eye colour look exquisite. It brings a smouldering sultriness towards the eye area and works for special occasions if you’re ever lacking make-up inspo. The key to mastering this look is blending and layering. Choose an eyeshadow palette that has several hues you can play with. You’re in charge of the drama when it comes to your signature smokey eye.
Blush Up

A sweep of blush on the cheeks is the quickest way to add radiance to your complexion. Each year, new blush trends make their way to the runways, but the ‘classic flush’ will always be the easiest way to rock the look. First, pick your product: powder, cream or liquid stain. Next, using a ‘C’ shape motion with a blusher brush, apply the product from the top of your temple down to the apple of your cheek. Then blend. We love how this look accentuates your cheekbones. It’s so fresh!
Bronzed Goddess
We consider the bronzed eye to be the daytime version of the dramatic smokey eye. There isn’t *as* much pressure to achieve a perfectly blended look; however, you still need to layer and blend. Choose an eyeshadow palette that has an array of nude colours, from Champagne to copper brown. Mix and match iridescent and matte finishes. Apply the lighter shades under the eye area to make the look pop and pair your bronzed smokey eye with a nude lipstick. Now you’re good to go.
Berry Lips
A berry lip is a favourite amongst winter make-up trends, but we reckon you can rock it all year round. It’s a darker take on the classic red lip, but allows you to experiment with different versions and colours. If you want something subtle, create a lip-stain effect with one of your lip products. It should mimic the look of having a sip or two of red wine. If definition is more your preference, choose a liquid lipstick. Keep the rest of your make-up understated with a slick of black mascara and a hint of blush.
