There’s nothing quite like splurging on a brand-spanking-new scent. Perhaps you’re just in the mood for something new and exciting – intoxicating even. So intoxicating, in fact, that you’ll find any excuse to take a whiff of your wrists.
If that’s the case, we’ve got you covered. We’ve rounded up the top five perfumes we’ll be spritzing all over our pulse points. Get ready to add to cart…
Fruity/Floral:
This fruity-floral number is one of the newest launches of the Paco Rabanne fragrance family and it’s delicious. The note line-up of pomegranate, white flowers and woodsy notes is a feast for your senses and is an ideal scent for a night out. Or night in. Whichever you prefer. The bottle is also a showstopper.
Oriental:
Here’s another black and gold fragrance to add to your cart: the Sisley Paris Soir d’Orient Eau de Parfum is a mysteriously enchanting scent with notes of saffron, bergamot, Turkish rose, patchouli, incense and sandalwood. It’s a must if you’re into warm, oriental fragrances.
Sweet:
Most people shudder at the thought of a sweet fragrance, but you have our word, this won’t give you a headache. So Scandal! by Jean Paul Gaultier Eau De Parfum falls into the sweet category because of its strong raspberry top note. However, the combination of strong florals (jasmine, neroli and tuberose) balance out the sweetness, making it one of the most energetic and exciting fragrances we’ve ever smelled. And it comes in a signature JPG bottle, legs and all.
Fresh:
POV: You’re in your cool-girl era. Calvin Klein’s classic CK One hardly needs an introduction but here’s a reminder of the notes: lemon, bergamot, pineapple, mandarin orange, freesia, rose, green accord, oakmoss and green tea make up this oh-so-fresh scent. It’s nostalgia at its finest.
Woody:
We’ve saved the most intoxicatingly iconic scent of them all for last: Dior’s Poison, but the eau de toilette version. It’s predominantly woody with a spicy, fruity edge. The note line-up includes wildberries, orange honey, tuberose, coriander and opopanax. It’s lighter than the OG, but just as exciting.
